His Alien Virgin
A 1 Night Stand Story
By Jessica E. Subject

It's no secret that I am a huge Jessica E. Subject fan. She is a master of creating complex characters, solid plots, and incredible emotions in a short a amount of time.

His Alien Virgin was a short little sexy treat to read....

The heroine of our story is Skylar. She's from the planet Rebed where she was raised to be sold as a wife. Not liking her fate or her soon to be husband, Skylar steals her step brother's ship and flees the planet.

After escaping the planet, Skylar sets course for earth. Madame Eve has arranged a 1 Night Stand for her.

Our hero Daran has been longtime friends with Skylar's step brother. He has always been attracted to Skylar, but knew she was forbidden. Not being native to eRth himself, he has longed to fit in, but has been weary due to his heritage.

Daran reluctantly agrees to go on a blind date, after a suggestion from his boss. He never imagined that his date would be the one person he knew he couldn't have..

Again, Jessica E. Subject packs a punch of a story in a short amount of time. It's so well done that you don't feel like you missed anything, but you definitely want more. This fast paced sexy little story is another great addition to the 1 Night Stand Series.

5 STARS/5
Excerpt:
His evening was supposed to be fun and exciting. Not filled with the worry of his companion learning of his extraterrestrial origins, or of her outing him to the world. He’d kept his hair short, to hide the feathers that grew in when his locks reached a certain length. And, each morning, he covered his exposed skin with waterproof foundation to conceal the blue tinge of his skin. But, as soon as he removed his clothing later in the night, his façade would end. He wouldn’t be able to hide his differences. Unless we stay in this part of the hotel all night. The dim lighting would make his skin color less obvious.
Perfect! He stood, his muscles finally relaxing, the tension melting away. Circling the room, he blew out every third candle. Just to be sure. In the morning, his one-night lover would leave, never knowing she’d had sex with an alien.
Daran returned to his chair, leaning back, hands behind his head. Or, if he was really lucky, he’d find an Earth woman who considered extraterrestrials to be sexy.
The door to the observatory rattled and he jumped to his feet, brushing sweaty palms across his pants. Heart pounding, he glanced up at the sky. Gods, please let this evening work out.
With a burst of light, the door opened. A woman stepped through, her long, lean body hidden in shadows. Clutching his fingers behind his back, he waited for her to move closer, needing to see her better.
A strange tingling filled him. Not good. Something’s wrong. He swallowed the sudden lump in his throat. I should never have agreed to this. Trying to step back, he stumbled when the message didn’t reach his feet.
His date drew nearer, her appearance becoming more defined. A silver dress hugged her body, both protecting and giving a hint of the delicious treat inside. The candlelight reflected off her wide eyes, leaving them glowing like sapphires. With most of her hair pulled back, the remaining long blue tendrils framed her face and highlighted her matching lips. But her radiant, mesmerizing eyes sparked his recognition. He knew her. His stomach sank along with all hopes for the evening.
“Oh, fuck.”
Of all the women on Earth—hell, in the universe—for him to be set up with, Madame Eve had to pick the one lover he could never have.

GUEST POST
What Inspires Me to Write Sci-Fi
by Jessica E. Subject

It is a pleasure to be back at Wicked Readings by Tawania. Thank you for coming to visit me!
For as long as I can remember, I have always believed in aliens. In fact, my mom and I used to joke that aliens had taken my brother away and replaced him with one of their own. (He was going through a really tough time growing up and then he just changed for the better, as if overnight.) But, all kidding aside, I’m still waiting for first contact. That is, a publicized one. Maybe extraterrestrials are already here on Earth. Who knows?

Besides staring up at the stars on a clear night, it was 80’s shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation, Out of this World, Alf, The Jetsons, and in the 90’s The X-Files, The Outer Limits, Space: Above & Beyond, and Star Trek:Voyager that brought about my love of sci-fi.
I admit that I didn’t read a lot of sci-fi growing up, except for the stories assigned to us for English class. But, I did take a science fiction English class in high school. And one of my assignments for that class inspired The Underground series.

But it is the “What’s out there?” and “What’s possible?” curiosity that inspires each and every one of my stories. Whether clones, aliens, or androids, I love to think about the social aspects of interacting with them. Will they be accepted into society? Will romantic relationships happen? And what about children? If there are aliens already here, do they look like us? Do they interact with us?

These questions and more start the stories I write. And my curiosity and my hope for the future and happily-ever-afters inspire the rest.
