The First Time I Saw You
She quickly turned her back to them, and as she did, she slammed right into a wall of muscle.
“Oh, I’m so sorry,” Melodie gasped, and when her gaze traveled up from the broad shoulders, they locked with a pair of steely gray eyes that were almost colorless and set in a handsome face.
The eyes that could look deep into her most secret of souls glanced quickly down at her name tag and immediately softened with humor. The sensuous mouth split into a wide grin that showed off white but not quite so perfect teeth; one front tooth slightly overlapped the other. It was the sexiest smile she’d ever seen. Then again, it could have been the dimples too.
“My pleasure. I haven’t been this close to sixty-nine in a long time.” His voice was smooth and rich like fine chocolate, deeply masculine and oh so sexy.  excerpt from Number 69by Casey Sheridan
I always love hearing stories about how couples met. That first meeting, the first thoughts and impressions made are things I find fascinating.
My mom and step-dad met when I was about three or four years old. A mutual friend set them up. Apparently, it took some doing to get them both in the same place at the same time. One seemed to have something happen to make him/her late and they would arrive after the other left.
According to my mom, she fell asleep on their first date (out until all hours) and she farted in her sleep. I'm guessing my step-dad told her this, and knowing my mom, I believe it.
Obviously at some point they got together (despite the farting, or maybe because of it J), or my step-dad would never have become my step-dad.
Then there's the story of the employers at my day job, Mr. and Mrs. X. They met while in college when Mrs. X was still Miss Y. At the time, Miss Y was dating someone else and Mr. X was a friend of this boyfriend.
One day, Mr. X, spying his friend, went over to say hello and was thus introduced to Miss Y.
Mr. X was so smitten, when he left to go to class he couldn't take his eyes off Miss Y and walked right into the door frame, leaving a lasting impression on both the door frame and Miss Y.
Whether romantic or humorous, that first time you meet your love will always be special and a story worthy of telling and retelling many times.
Tell me….how did you meet your husband/wife, or boyfriend/girlfriend? What was your first impression of them?
Gazing down at her and smiling, Elliott asked, “Would you like to go somewhere for dinner? I know a nice Spanish restaurant that’s not too far away. The food is excellent, and tonight they have live entertainment. A flamenco guitarist by the name of Blake de Marco is playing. Besides, I’d like to get to know you better, have an actual conversation, and get your number, all that stuff. That is how people still go about dating, isn’t it?”
Melodie grinned up at him. She didn’t want the night to end yet. “Sounds great. I’d loveto.” –excerpt from Number 69 by Casey Sheridan available from Breathless Press

NUMBER 69 by Casey Sheridan
Blurb:
A matchmaking party was not Melodie's idea of fun, and wearing vibrating panties was just plain weird. Or was it?
Should she go to the party? After all, she just might meet Mr. Right. And if he doesn't show, she has the vibrating panties to keep things interesting.

Excerpt:
Melodie gave the attendant a smile while he held the glass door,
and she stepped over the threshold into the magnificent lobby. Her
heart raced, and she clutched her little black evening bag while she
looked around.
The Crystal Hotel was one of the oldest structures in the downtown
area and owned by arguably the wealthiest family in town. It
was a dream come true, and probably a once in a lifetime event to go
to an upscale gathering at such an elegant establishment.
Giant marble columns supported a pastoral painted ceiling. Radiant
crystal and gold chandeliers hung from ornate plaster medallions
like bejeweled earrings. She looked around in awe, speechless at the
grandeur of the stately old building so meticulously cared for.
Melodie descended off the landing not exactly certain where she
was supposed to go. A plush red carpet rolled out across the marble
floor and led to the highly polished, expansive mahogany front desk.
Rooted to the spot, she stared at the wide curving staircase that
flowed down from the second floor.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a room at the hotel and climb such
an elegant staircase to get to it? She made good money at her job but
not that much money.
Elevator doors slid open, letting out numerous passengers only to
take in as many new ones. People sat on the carved Victorian furniture
and chatted with one another, read the paper, talked on their cell
phones, or tapped away on their laptops. She smiled at the contradiction
of modern technology next to period pieces from the 1890s.
The lobby’s soft lighting and small groupings of chairs and settees
gave the expansive room a warm atmosphere, and Melodie began to
relax.
She spied the doors to the ballroom and headed toward them
when she caught her reflection in a large, ornate gilt mirror that hung
over a fireplace. The image smiled back at her. No one, not even Trudy,
could say she looked like a grandmother anymore.
She ran her hand down the silk fabric of her new dress.
“Every girl needs a little black dress.” At least that’s what the sales
lady at the shop told her when she bought it. Her dress was indeed
little. It complimented her curves and accentuated her large breasts.
The new lace bra she bought to wear with the dress gave her great
cleavage, even if she did say so herself.
The vibrating panties puzzled her. She’d received them in the
mail about two weeks ago. Black lace and nicely made, a silver vibrating
bullet slipped into a little pocket in the crotch which nestled
nicely between the lips of her pussy and against her clit, but when she
examined the box, there was no remote. She could’ve sworn her RSVP
had said remote-controlled pantiesHow else would they work? She
didn’t see an on/off switch. Tonight she’d find out.
Stepping closer to the mirror, she checked her makeup and
smoothed her hair. She had a hard time trying to decide if she should
wear her long hair up or keep it down. In the end, she’d compromised;
she had left it down except for one side that she pulled back and held
with a shiny silver clip.
Inspection complete and satisfied with what she saw, Melodie
headed for the ballroom. A sign set on a gold A-frame stand announced:
BY INVITATION ONLY. LADIES’ ENTRANCE AHEAD.
GENTLEMEN’S ENTRANCE TO THE RIGHT.
