Hi All,
My week has been all out of wack, so my postings have been all mixed up. Hopefully this week will be more tamed, and I can get back on track. I did receive a lot of goodies in the mail, and I finally finished mailing off my contest winners books and swag. If you are waiting on goodies from me, I promise it's on it's way.
Soo... This is what I'm reading this week.
Infinity: Chronicles of Nick- by. Sherrilyn Kenyon
From the back of the book...
At fourteen, Nick Gautier thinks he knows everything about the world around him. Streetwise, tough and savvy, his quick sarcasm is the stuff of legends. . .until the night when his best friends try to kill him. Saved by a mysterious warrior who has more fighting skills than Chuck Norris, Nick is sucked into the realm of the Dark-Hunters: immortal vampire slayers who risk everything to save humanity.
Nick quickly learns that the human world is only a veil for a much larger and more dangerous one: a world where the captain of the football team is a werewolf and the girl he has a crush on goes out at night to stake the undead.
But before he can even learn the rules of this new world, his fellow students are turning into flesh eating zombies. And he’s next on the menu.
As if starting high school isn't hard enough. . .now Nick has to hide his new friends from his mom, his chainsaw from the principal, and keep the zombies and the demon Simi from eating his brains, all without getting grounded or suspended. How in the world is he supposed to do that?
I love Ms. Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series and Nick is one of my favorite characters. I am interested to see him as a teenager, and not a battle hardened squire or tortured Dark Hunter.
I am also planning to read..
MoonRise by. Crymsyn Hart
Blurb from the book...
It’s only at moonrise that he can be reunited with his eternal love.
Laura has been searching for Horus for centuries. In her dreams they are together, but in real life her heart howls for him.
It’s only when they meet by chance that he helps her discover her true nature.
This will be the first book of Ms. Hart's that I have read, but I have heard nothing but good things about her books. I'm optimistic that I will enjoy it.
Well that's my rundown..
